SNST present their 3rd single “What’s Evil About?” - from their upcoming sophomore album It’s Hard To Be Loved By You (slated for Spring 2020). Produced, recorded, and mixed by Chris Broach, “It’s Hard To Be Loved (By You)” represents an updated look and sound for SNST. The music is atmosphere, feel, and real. The single deals with addiction, love, and a longing for a return to normalcy. This track could be described as being reminiscent of bands like: Metric, Chvrches, St. Vincent
SNST’s Turn Out the Lights received features, reviews, and previews at E! News, Billboard, Alternative Press, Brooklyn Vegan, GhettoBlaster, Impose, Uproxx, QRO Mag, and more. The band toured from 2016-2018 in the midwest, south (including a few SXSW showcases in 2017 shared w/ Closeness), and east coast, before taking a break for the rest of 2018 and 2019 to write and record a new record.
SNST is continuing to release singles throughout the Fall of 2019 prior to the release of their aforementioned sophomore album. In the meantime, “What’s Evil About?” is out Friday, October 25th on City at Night / SNST RCRDS, the band’s own imprint label.
